Smarter Packaging for a Smaller Footprint

The R1’s packaging has been completely redesigned to minimize waste and optimize efficiency. By reducing the overall size of the box, we can ship more units per load, cutting down on transportation emissions. Despite the slimmer design, the packaging still provides robust protection during transit.

Every element of the packaging is 100% recyclable and made from paper or board—no plastic bags, no unnecessary accessories. Even the protective film on the camera’s LCD screen is now biodegradable, ensuring that nothing lingers in the environment longer than it should.

Thoughtful Design Choices

We’ve reimagined the way we include product information. The R1’s user leaflets are concertina-folded, eliminating the need for staples and reducing material use. This compact, multi-panel design delivers all the essential information in a single, easy-to-navigate format—while remaining fully recyclable.

Accessories When You Need Them

To further reduce waste, the R1 ships only with essential magnetic mounts and a lanyard. Additional mounting options are still available, but this move ensures less wastage by avoiding the supply of unnecessary accessories customers may not need.
